It’s my turn to share a little from Puebla Mexico. Right now we are enjoying God’s rest after an amazing meeting this morning at Las Naciones Church where are fearless leader Scott McClelland brought the heat, along with Jerry McNally. Leaving a strong conviction on what it is to be a testimony of Jesus! Yesterday, after shoveling the last of the gravel driveway, we ended up going back to the colorful market and then out to eat. Tomorrow, after one of Scott’s workouts we are taking about 40 kids, from the orphanage, to the mountains. They barley get to leave the there for these kids of activity so I’m sure it’s going to be a blast. It has been nice to be back from the villages but they had there rewards too. Personally, it was great to see God move in power in my life, along with our team, and more importantly in their lives. We left an ever-lasting impression of God’s heart for them, revealing what Jesus has done and demonstrating and imparting His power and the authority.
I want to share a testimony, that I believe we should rejoice in! In one of the villages, called Amoltepec, there was a paralyzed boy, would had been suffering for about three years. He was born fine, a little premature, but a healthy baby. Through out the day we prayed, held him, loved on him and I believe we healed Him. The service we did, that night we did a baby dedication and the mother brought him forward along with several other parents and their babies. After the service the team got together with the mother and boy. She told us the story about his life and how she tried to get him help. We brought her to repentance to bringing her son to the witch doctor, and we pray, cried out to God, and did all we could for God to move into this boys life. We casted out any demonic influence in his life. I started to feel discourage asking God why, what must we do. About an hour or two went by and the mom asked us to stop. She didn’t know how she was going to make it back to her village. Many people walked hours to hear God’s message. The next morning we herad the news that the boy had past away. We were all so emotionally shocked to hear this but after we began to rejoice knowing God completely put his heart in the boys life completly healing him. I know he is dancing on streets of gold! Although this is a sad testimony, I feel greatly honored to be apart of his life. The father of the boy, who is not saved, is going to come to their next church service. We blessed the family with money and food! This may seem like a failed attempted, but we all feel the Lord carried out His plan according to His plan. Thanks for reading, Chris.
